v) Uncle Podger would lose sight of the mark. [ ii ]

Activity 2

Answer the following questions :

a) Why Was it necessary for each of them to get up on the chair beside him ?

Uncle Podger would have lost sight of the mark he had made on the wall, where the nail was to go in. For that reason each of them had to get up on the chair.

b) Why did the uncle consider each of them to be fools ?

Each of them discover the mark in a new place, Uncle Podger consider them to be fools.

c) How did uncle podger fall on the Piano ?
